No Doubt's first new song and video in more than 10 years, called "Settle Down," arrived on Monday (July 16th) ahead of the September 25th release of the band's new album, Push And Shove. The single features the same kind of reggae beats and percussive sounds that marked No Doubt's last all-new set, 2001's Rock Steady, which their sixth studio effort will follow up.
- The video, in which the group dress themselves up as truckers, premiered Monday night (July 16th) on the E! network.
- Push And Shove follows a lengthy hiatus during which singer Gwen Stefani embarked on a solo career, including two albums and tours, while the rest of No Doubt waited for her to return.
- The group reunited for a summer tour two years ago and began writing the new album at the time as well.
- No Doubt is scheduled to play the iHeart Radio festival in Las Vegas on September 21st, but has yet to announce full tour plans.
