Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might be giving their romance another try.People magazine reported that the pair met up in Los Angeles last weekend -- reportedly for the first time since Kristen's infidelity became national news.

One insider told the magazine that Pattinson's friends "think they'll be a couple again."

Although Rob was devastated after Kristen cheated with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, a close source noted that cutting ties is "easier said than done . . . and clearly harder than expected."

Rob and Kristen have stepped out separately to promote movie projects, but both have avoided talking about the scandal.

• Rob came closest during an interview on The Daily Show when he nervously skirted the issue: ["(Jon) So, what are we doing here? Are you all right? Is everything okay? I'm worried about you and you're all right. (Robert) I don't even know how to approach this now... (Jon) The ice cream? 'Cause it's a mess. (Robert) This is a weird thing about these interviews. Now I'm going to sound like an idiot. (Jon) Not at all. (Robert) But like my biggest problem in my life is I am cheap. I didn't hire a publicist. In every awkward interview, normally actors get everything scripted. (Jon) You're going to come out with an anecdote. So, I'm gonna ask you, so, I hear your summer in France has been lovely. (Robert) I'm going to hire a publicist. (Jon) I think you should. I think you should. Although unless you have a time machine."]
