Is Chris Brown performing at the MTV VMA's or not? Rumors have been floating around that Chris was going to hit the stage with Rihanna at the show. According toMediatakeout.com, Rihanna demanded to have Chris on stage with her.

A VMA source said, "[The producers] like the ratings that [a Chris-Rihanna duel] would bring, but there could be some backlash too. . . There isn't much choice since Rihanna is insisting that he perform with her."

• Chris' rep denied that he will be performing with Rihanna. According to Christian Post, his rep said, "[Chris Brown] will not be at VMAs in any capacity,"

The VMAs will air on September 6th.
